Process automation is often referenced as AI. Our approach is to breakdown each function on it’s own for many reasons. Process automation, Artificial Intelligence, and remaining traditional process are all unique in their own way. Sometimes the business need is just automation, which can be handled in numerous ways that still have significant room for adoption and high return on level of lift.
AI Artifical Intelligence and process automation are often used interchangeably. In reality, it’s just as important to know when not to use AI as it is to use AI. In many instances, the ask for AI is really an ask for significant efficiency gains in operational process from very reliable process automation. True AI has it’s place as well and instead of following a highly-complex, but reliable set of rules, AI follows patterns, learning, rules, and uncertainty. AI can bring incredible speed to time consuming process like content and design and can leverage unstructured data to develop powerful intel and serve it to a person or into a process. We clarify for the purpose of explaining the GVX approach and point of view in terms of AI & process.
